Handy Tips
Small shortcuts and time savers that make busy clinic days run more smoothly.
- Quick Search (⌘K / Ctrl+K): Press this shortcut anywhere to open the command palette. Search for any page, action, or patient, type at least 2 characters to search patients.
- Dark / Light Mode: Toggle your theme using the switch in the header bar.
- Appointment Reminders: You'll get an in-app and push notification 15 minutes before each appointment. To receive push notifications on your device, enable them in Settings → Notifications and allow the browser prompt when it appears.
- Patient IDs: Every patient gets a unique ID like PAT-00001 when registered. Use this to quickly find them in search.
- Dates & Times: CallidusOS uses UK format, dates are dd/MM/yyyy and times are 24-hour (e.g. 14:30 not 2:30 PM).
- Currency: All prices and financial amounts are shown in pounds (£).
- Notifications Bell: The bell icon in the top-right corner shows recent notifications without leaving your current page.
- Sidebar on Mobile: On smaller screens, tap the menu icon to open the sidebar. It slides in from the left.
- Need help? Click the floating Calia button in the bottom-right corner, that's me! I'm always here.
- Talk to a human: If you need help with something I can't do, click "Need human help?" at the bottom of my chat or visit the Help & Support page in the sidebar to start a live chat with the support team.
- Help & Support page: Find it in the sidebar (below Settings), it has live chat with online/offline status, plus contact details for the CallidusOS team.
